Alfaro Abogados advised China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) on the sale of its assets in Argentina to the local company Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC), a transaction completed in June 2021.
This transaction adds to the firm’s long-standing relationship with Sinopec in Argentina, which includes acting as local counsel in the acquisition of Occidental Petroleum’s assets in the country in 2011.
