Alfaro Abogados advises foreign and domestic clients from different industries, from large companies to small entrepreneurs. This includes choosing the appropriate corporate vehicles, registering foreign shareholders and incorporating companies, joint ventures or temporary business associations, as well as day-to-day advice to meet the business needs of each client.

Our work ranges from advising on, preparing and carrying out corporate procedures of all kinds, such as company incorporations, approval of financial statements, appointment of officers and directors, granting and revocation of powers of attorney, amendments to bylaws, formal approval of specific acts or transactions, capital increases (with or without share premium) and capital reductions, registration of transfers or encumbrances over equity interests, corporate transformations, changes of jurisdiction, etc. Together with our Corporate department, we also advise on more complex matters such as mergers/acquisitions, spin-offs and other types of corporate reorganizations.

We also have extensive experience in handling disputes among partners and shareholders. Together with our Litigation department, we help our clients assess their situation and rights, define their objectives and design a strategy for negotiating settlement agreements with their counterparties.

As part of our firm’s pro bono work, our Corporate Law department actively advises non-profit organizations on all their corporate requirements.
