Fernanda Secco is an experienced lawyer with a strong background in the mining sector. She has worked in reputable companies and possesses extensive knowledge of various legal aspects related to the industry.
From February 2018 to February 2023, Fernanda served as the Legal Manager at Minera Andina del Sol SRL (Veladero-Barrick Gold). In this role, she oversaw crucial areas such as permits, environmental impact reports, litigation, contract review and negotiations, intercompany agreements, mining property control, internal and audit reporting, as well as tax and foreign exchange strategy.
Previously, Fernanda worked as the Corporate Legal Manager at Yamana Gold, where she provided legal advice and coordination for multiple mining projects in Argentina.
Fernanda has furthered her professional expertise through postgraduate studies. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mining Business Management from the Catholic University of Cuyo and has completed an update in Oil and Natural Gas Law at the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, she obtained a law degree from the Catholic University of Santiago del Estero.
