Gabriela Carissimo brings her experience in litigation and administrative proceedings.

She represents the interests of the firm´s local and international clients in complex litigation, such as among others, restructuring proceedings, tax disputes, debt collection, enforcement proceedings, and corruption and fraud cases against disloyal employees.

She has participated in the resolution of legal and administrative disputes in arbitration proceedings and other dispute resolutions, both in the role of plaintiff as defendant.

Provides specially advice on corporate debt restructuring. Assists creditors and debtors in a wide range of bankruptcy proceedings, extrajudicial preventive agreements and restructurings. In particular, she represents creditors in debt claims in the different steps of the restructuring and bankruptcy procedure, participating in litigation claims related to restructuring procedures, acquisition of insolvent companies, compliance with guarantees and development of debt payment proposals.

She has graduated from University of Buenos Aires Law School with Certificate of Honor in 1998, and has obtained a specialization degree in Damages Law and Civil Responsibility in the A.A.B.A. and has assisted a Postgraduate Course in Corporate Law.

She has been a member of the Inter American Bar Association (Argentine Chapter) and has published and assisted to I.A.B.A. Conferences related with Civil and Commercial Law.

She also has obtained an International Certification in Ethics and Compliance from the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA) and the Argentine Association of Ethics and Compliance (AAEC) – (2019) leading our Compliance and good practices department, encouraging our clients to promote the adoption and inspire the use of the best practices in Ethics and Compliance, understanding that organizational practices must comply with the applicable rules and regulations, as well as ethical principles and good governance practices, control and transparency.

Ms. Carissimo has graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Law School with a Certificate of Honor in 1998.

She has obtained a specialization degree in Damages Law and Civil Responsibility in the A.A.B.A.

She is in charge of judicial litigation and of administrative litigation and the implementation of legal strategies for our customers.

She represents local and international clients in complex litigation and she has participated in the resolution of legal, administrative disputes, arbitration proceedings, and other dispute resolutions, both in the role of the plaintiff as a defendant.

She is a member of the Inter American Bar Association (Argentine Chapter) and has also published and assisted to I.A.B.A. Conferences related to Civil and Commercial Law.


The head of our Litigation Department, Ms. Gabriela Carissimo, has been certified as International Compliance Professional by the Argentine Association of Ethics and Compliance.
